I know I've emailed some of you about Zonya Foco, the dietitian on KBYU. I bought one of her cookbooks a few nights ago, and so far I am very pleased. The name of the cookbook is Lickity Split Meals. So far I have tried the Turkey Sloppy Joes, Beef Stroganoff and Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars. They were all very good. It makes eating healthy enjoyable. I couldn't believe how yummy the Chocolate Chip Bars were. Kirstyn, Danny and Lila all loved them too. I plan on trying more recipes. I will let you know what I think.
I also bought the True Lemon and True Lime stuff I emailed about. It is a very refreshing, clean taste. It is a good alternative to soda, or Crystal Lite. Or even if you just need help flavoring water to get more of it in your system. I use one of the packets with a packet of Sun Crystals (which is a 5 calorie natural sweetener made with raw sugar and Stevia) It is good. I prefer the taste of the True Lime flavor. I bought it at Smith's, but you can go on their website to see what stores in your area offer it. I will paste the links below. You can always order off their website I guess. I still need to look into the Vitalicious products she talks about. They sound really good too.
Ok I tried to paste the link to True Lemon, I am not sure if it worked.

Just so you know!
I have learned how to change the template on my blog, add buttons, headers, banners, and just do some overall cleanup. I am pretty pleased with myself. You can expect new templates, banners and buttons! As you can see I am excited about Easter. Easter means Spring, Spring means happiness. :)

Valentine's FonDID!! :)
Valentine's FonDID!! :)
Here are some pics from Valentine's Day. We all went over Grant and Sandy's house and had Fondu. It was really good! We all ate a lot of food and had fun. There are also some pics in here of Lila in her little plastic playpen again. (you know, the one she isn't supposed to be in because it isn't safe... yeah that one...) There was so much food there. I think my favorite was the strawberries with carmel. yum! It was also Lila's first time sitting at the table like a big girl without her high chair. She was sitting in Crew's Bumbo, and she was very happy about that.
I ate Jello and it was good! I can't believe I liked it. I hate Jello, but somehow Sandy made it tasty. It was a very confusing experience for me. Liking Jello that is...
We all went to the movies to see Valentine's Day too. Porter watched Lila. That was so nice of him to do that. I think we all enjoyed the movie.
Anyway Enjoy the pics! Love you guys!

Some Sick Thoughts.....
Ah HAh! Probably not what you are thinking! Get your minds out of the gutter. :)
Just kidding.
Anyway I just thought I would write a few random things that I have been thinking over the past day or two. I call them the top ten of being sick, even though I don't know if I have ten things I want to write, or maybe even more.. who knows. They are in no particular order either. They are what they are..... and that's just thoughts.
1) I really need to start taking care of myself and focusing even more on a healthier lifestyle. If there's anything I have realized while being sick it's that I hate being sick and I don't want to be stricken with something that doesn't just go away like a virus or sinus infection.
2) I can't believe how adorable and amazing and loving my little girl is. She is just so much fun. She has been so patient with me while I have been sick. I don't know how she understands, but she just does. The other day she smacked me in the face and when she saw how much it hurt me her little bottom lip stuck way out quivering and her eyes welled up with tears. She felt so bad. She had no idea before she hit me what the result would be, but when she saw I was in pain her little heart broke. :( On a side note, I think she is going to turn into a Popsicle. She has been eating probably 5 of them a day, at least!
3) I have realized that the world does still go on without me, and that even though things aren't done the way I would do them and even if the house isn't as clean as I would like everything is still OK! So, with all of this in mind I really don't need to stress the way I do and be so uptight about everything right????? Yeah right! It's something to try to achieve.... More Zen, less stress... :)
4) I have never watched Grey's Anatomy before, and other than the fact that everyone is always sleeping with everyone it's a pretty interesting show. The few episodes I have seen anyway.
5) I am amazed at how wonderful and helpful my husband is. I really need to show my appreciation for him more and not be critical. He's the bomb diggity.
6) Sandy is always there to lend a hand or brighten up your day. She called yesterday to check on us and brought us over lunch. Even though we can't be around all of our family, it's nice to have some family around.
7) The Olympics are cool to watch but they also are difficult too. In a split second a persons hard work and dreams can be just ripped away. That's not easy to watch! If they were just slackers or if they didn't try very hard that would be one thing, but most of these athletes have put their lives basically on hold to train for this one moment in time. Something goes wrong and,.... forget about it!!! I'm sure there is a moral to this story but I don't know what that is.
8) I still love the original Cadbury Eggs. They are chocolaty ooey gooey goodness. I know this statement completely contradicts any point I made in #1.
9) I think the poor air quality in Salt Lake has something to do with me being this sick. I am debating whether I should do the nasal rinse or not. Will it be helpful or harmful, to rinse or not to rinse, that is the question.
10) I have noticed a lot of people at work are planning vacations. I want to go someplace warm too.
11) Just checking to see if anyone actually made it this far?
12) I hope people start commenting on my blogs. It feels like I am blogging to the wind. It's like all of this only happens in my world and in my head which it's all happening already there so why put it here?
Just kidding.

Pebbles Hair Do and Valentine's Day Cookies :)
Pebbles Hair Do:
Valentine's Day Cookies:
Valentine's Day Plans:
In General:
There are a couple of pictures in here of Lila with her hair done like Pebbles from the Flintstone's. Her hair is getting really long. I should be able to do just about any kind of pony tail I want soon. :) Maybe off to the side????
Valentine's Day Cookies:
We went over Grant and Sandy's house to decorate cookies for Valentine's Day. Sandy and Steph make the best sugar cookies. There were a bunch of different kinds of candies and sprinkles to decorate with, so it was a lot of fun. Lila LOVED putting the sprinkles on. I think she poured sprinkles for a good hour, and then cried that she wanted to keep going back to do more. We were sad that Kirstyn wasn't able to make it. She had too much homework and studying to do. We made sure to bring her back some vegetarian safe cookies. Danny hand crafted them himself.
Valentine's Day Plans:
We all want to see the movie Valentine's Day sometime this weekend. Hopefully we will be able to work something out so we can. Brent and I still need to figure out what we are going to do to celebrate.
In General:
Other then all of that going on, Lila has had RSV (I guess a respiratory infection) and now a double ear infection, so she has had a rough time of the past week. On top of that she dropped a bottle of hot sauce on her toe tonight and it's swollen and bruised. I am not sure if it is broken or not, she is walking on it fine so I guess not.

Eskimo Kisses, House Cleaning and Mario
Eskimo Kisses:
I've posted some pics of Lila giving Kirstyn, Danny and I Eskimo kisses. Brent wasn't home from work yet, or else I would have taken one with him too. Whenever she hugs or kisses any one of us she goes around the room and does it to the rest of us. It's so much fun. She loves to tease though. If you are the first person in the bunch to ask for a hug or a kiss, she usually runs straight to someone else and gives them one first. Usually the asker gets it last. LOL
House Cleaning:
Lila LOVES helping. You cannot even open the dishwasher without her running over trying to grab dishes to put them away. It doesn't matter if it's a dirty load or not, she gets right to work. When the dishes are clean I remove all of the knives or anything she can get hurt on and she helps put away the rest. She can't see what she's doing, but she reaches up as tall as she can and blindly drops stuff in drawers. It's so cute to watch her help. She is incredibly independant. I wonder where she gets that from????? She has also started grabbing the broom and dustpan. She sweeps the carpet and the tile. Just this morning she grabbed one of her faceclothes and went to town cleaning the cabinets, walls, stools, her high chair and toys. When I went to get the camera she yelled "DONE!" LOL... I convinced her to do it again so I could snap a few photos.
Mario:
You know you have been playing too much Mario when your lil child starts shouting... "DON'T DIE, DON'T DIE" and..... "BUBBLE!". LOL
You also know your playing too much Mario when all of a sudden you look over and you see her in a little plastic playpen made for dolls (not kids) chewing on a power cord (not plugged in thankfully)
